Step 1: CLEAN

Clean your glass/ window to ensure a dust-free surface.

Step 2: WATER (DO NOT SKIP THIS!)

Lightly wet the surface of the glass/ window using a soapy water mixture from a spray bottle.

*This will ensure a smooth bubble-free suncatcher and its longevity if you plan on repositioning it in future*

Step 3: AFFIX

Start peeling your decal and apply the suncatcher beginning with a corner or an edge. Once the first section of the suncatcher is in place, apply slight pressure using a credit card from top to bottom to gently remove or squeegee out any air bubbles.

Step 4: CHECK & CLEAN

Check that you’ve placed the suncatcher exactly where you want it to be before using a paper towel to wipe away the excess water.

STEP 5: STEP BACK & ENJOY THE RAINBOWS

Capture your rainbows on photo or video and share them with us by tagging us on Instagram @thebraveassembly

P.S: If your suncatcher takes on a milky cast - do not fret! It will clear up once the water has dried. This can take up to 3 days but it will not reduce the effectiveness of the suncatcher.

PRO TIP #1: CHOOSING WHICH WINDOW TO STICK ON

Affix it to your East-facing window to catch rainbows as you start your day with your morning cup of coffee or tea, a West-facing window to catch them with the setting sun, or a South-facing window to have lovely rainbows dance across your floor all day long. (P.S: You can use the compass application on your phone!)

PRO TIP #2: ON REMOVAL & RE-APPLICATION

Did you know you can also remove the decals and reapply them? As long as they are applied initially with plenty of water, a light spritz will help to peel the back off. Have a piece of clean glass / clear acrylic (like a picture frame) handy to spritz and move your decal directly to it for storing.

Be sure to clean the surface of the glass to minimize the amount of dust and lint. Fingerprints are sadly unavoidable, but it will not reduce the effectiveness of the suncatcher. If there is residue left on the glass, simply use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to wipe it off.
